Thank you! Yes, grateful for all of it, even when I can’t yet do all of the versions or flex into a split.

What a great class for day 2 of the spring 2022 challenge. The most powerful was the closing meditation. 🌻

Commented on Workout mat

I treated myself to a Lululemon reversible mat 5mm last December and have found it does not pill into tiny balls that cover the carpet and my clothing. I lay the grippy side down on the carpet and the smooth side under my feet, which has worked great. I bought it in plain black to save $10, but after replacing mats that disintegrated after a few months of use, this has been a worthwhile investment.

Yay welcome to the challenge and how awesome you are keeping your body moving with the family hike! I channeled my inner child and printed the board out and taped it to the journal I’m using for this challenge, but I’ve seen others have taken a screenshot of the board and use the drawing editing to cross off each day with an x or a check mark.

Yessss fur baby and sweet baby for added support! 🙌
Something I am loving is seeing a mix of goals and knowing that there will be support for all of us, whether we can realistically aim for 30, 45, or 60. Committing to anything is something; and it is valuable, and can create shifts and change. I feel more motivated just seeing others getting ready for this!

I felt the fire from the inside wrapping around me - there were some challenging holds at times, but I so appreciate the opportunity to try. I have a feeling I will be feeling my legs, glutes, and entire core (front and back) ALL day.
Yes! Trying my first M/Body Challenge and going for all 60 baby!! 😬🥳💃💪💗💗💗

Commented on Equipment

Hi Carolyn! I just wanted to share if you have a “5 Below” store nearby, that can be a place to pick up dumbbells for $5 but yes any can can work. I used a folding chair for almost 2 years of barre workouts and recently treated myself to a used portable barre I found on FB Marketplace (as a tall girl it’s nice to have a higher surface). Yoga mats are available at so many places- last year I treated myself to a quality mat (lululemon brand for $78) and it has been really cool having a mat that does not pill and therefore does not need replacing after a few months. These were investments I decided were worthwhile when I found more consistency with exercise. I am all about used equipment if you can find it online or at local thrift stores.
