Nicole, you have strength within you, don't hesitate to call upon it. ✨️ I know my parents love me and I love them, even enduring the abuse. It was a struggle bc I loved them. But I can still love ny parents while hating what I experienced. I can forgive and understand that my father may be prone to behaving in a certain manner and I choose if it that determines my self-worth or not. You have choices my dear. It's your journey to discover what those choices may be for you.

Hey Nicole, growing up I struggled with an abusive parent. It's okay that you have struggles with your mother. We are flawed humans with the freedom to choose. Sometimes we make choices that yield consequences than results and vice-versa. I used to be angry with my mother for dying and leaving us with my father who decided to be abusive because he was a abused in his childhood. I had to decide to either remain a victim or become a victor of my circumstances. The stress of being a victim made me ill and it was when I decided to use my strength 💪 and to free myself from thinking that I deserve to be treated as such my emotional state began to change.

Thank you Marnie! The words you've spoken, "Its not about 'I can' or 'can't' but rather 'I get too' " has been a game changer for me.

Thank you! The pics are from the local Erie Bontanical Garden. The horticulturists & volunteers do amazing work planting gardens and upkeeping the terrain. Plus, the architecture of the green houses are breath-taking.
