I’m really trying to work on my balance between output (work, cleaning, groceries, the tasks of life) and input (soul feeding stuff like writing, art, reading, baking, noticing). I am great at getting things done, but not at sitting in the moment and letting awe find me. I did sign up for a 6 week painting class! I would like more 20 min stretches, 5-10 min meditations, or movements that require us to get gooey with ourselves and notice us.

Echoing others on the greatness of this class! Really felt the activation in my left working leg. Was adjusting a lot for the right so will have to try again.

I love everything you post. It is lovely and insightful and vulnerable.

So.much.transition. I will not meet my challenge goals, but I’m okay with it! I’ve gone on hikes and brunches with friends, nutured relationships with my “step children” (quotes bc I am not married to their dad but they consider me their step mom after 3 years of dating), and done morning walks 2x per week to enjoy Denver mornings and get to know my new neighborhood. My challenges right now are growing adult friendships while leaning in to this remote job and suburban stepmom life. This community is the strong foundation that allows me to grow in these new directions. 🥰

I loved the pace of this class! I slept great last night and appreciated that this was faster than I anticipated. Loved the violet/blue/violet/blue! More of that please!

This one was so hard for me! I felt pretty defeated, but Marnie’s words about just showing up to the mat as we are made me feel better. Reminder to me: it is good to have positions and poses to grow into. Come back and try this one in a few months.
