Today during the live class, at the start of the stretch, Marnie mentioned looking up at the blue sky like when we were kids. That and various things Marnie has said over my year+ with M/BODY made me think of Brandi Carlile’s “Stay Gentle” - I love it. Hope you do too.

Letting everyone know my status on the challenge. I set out to do 30/60. I was on track until November 18. Then we moved to a new house. Then I had COVID (a.k.a. No working out for two weeks). I started back with the “Getting Started” Guide because it’s just right for me after being sick. And now I have absolutely no idea where the challenge boards I printed are. I think I did about 20 (?) sessions in all. Cheers to all the challengers! So inspiring!

I’m so excited for my new workout space. We transformed our formal dining room into a home gym. Until now I’ve been working out in a little space in my bedroom - now I’ll have room to stretch out without running into furniture!

So, yesterday one of my right ribs went out of joint. It happened when I was doing the abs part of the restorative flow but not correctly/carefully. If you’ve never had a rib go out, just know it is very painful and uncomfortable. I went to the chiropractor yesterday for myofacial release and hopefully fix of the rib, but even he couldn’t get it back in place. Needless to say, I went into today’s live cautiously, but knowing I needed to move, at the least I would do the lower body portions. Well, long story short, some time in the work out today my rib was corrected! I ended up doing the whole thing including jumps and push-ups! Thank you a million times over, Marnie for creating these amazing healing workouts. I’ll be extra careful with the abs portions from now on. I think I’m a head on the floor type… Cheers everyone!

Hello Fam! Catching up at my own pace with the challenge. I’m committing to 30 workouts. Have 2 done so far. Still recovering from a big virus I had last month and working my way up to longer workouts. So glad for all the 20 and 30 minute options on this challenge! High fives to you all!

Well, I’ve been away from the mat for 2 weeks now because I have a no fun respiratory virus. Not COVID this time, but a doosy anyway. I’ve really missed being with you all at the live classes, and just being with the M/BODY energy in general. I’ll keep loving my body by resting until I’m ready to workout again. In the mean time I’m sending all the love. ❤️

Hi Fam - I am so very grateful to Marnie for prompting all of us to post our fur babies, and for all of you showing up and posting! I had a really hard week emotionally and this thread has been a true bright spot. Animals are such a gift. Thank you all!
