Hey M/Body fam! First off, sending so much love to Marnie and her pups as they move through this loss. We are all ready to embrace you and be in community together on Wednesday <3

Secondly, I wanted to ask what rituals you do on or off the mat that enhance your M/Body experience. It could be anything simple like burning a candle, or if you make a whole morning of it I’d love to know that too. Looking for some inspiration on how to add to this beautiful daily ritual of movement I have going on. Thanks y’all!

Gorgeous class <3 Doing this way later in September, but I feel it pairs so well with this month’s theme of Trust!

Sending so much love, those puppies become part of our family and losing them is never easy. I know she was so loved and cared for, and will continue to be even when she’s not here physically

This class was so, so needed. As a young woman in Texas, Dolly’s loss felt especially heavy. The south is struggling with the stripping away of human rights and the resurgence of brutal inhumanity, and Dolly felt like a pillar of who we could collectively be. This class held space for her legacy and created a sense of renewed joy despite the overwhelm I feel at the state of the world. Thank you Marnie and M/Body team for meeting us in every stage of life and loss <3

I couldn’t make this live class, but I did it that same evening. I showed up mentally and physically tight, and I left feeling so regulated. The perfect experience for anyone who needs to reconnect to their center with strength, joy, and release. <3

I definitely understand this experience. I think your response depends on what the intrusive thought is about. If it’s related to the exercise itself, then consider taking a moment to remind yourself that you’re safe, present, and whole and then jump back in. If it’s related to something off the mat, I will sometimes stop whatever I’m doing and brain dump all the thoughts on paper for 1 minute. I let my mind spiral and get it all out in my journal, but once the minute is up I take a deep breath and write down affirmations that counteract those thoughts. Also if it seems like the shorter workouts are best for you, maybe try incorporating a few short ones throughout the day. You can get more movement in, but it might feel more manageable if it’s not all at once. Sending so much encouragement to you!

My intention is to keep taking care of myself with nutrition! I need to keep trusting my judgement and eat things that make me feel good long term, not just in the moment. Also, inspired by Sibel I would love to reconnect with my astrology and tarot practices!

Looove this, it’s so amazing to sync up with our astrology
