No impact but all the sweat! My heart rate was still up from all the kicks in this class! I also loved the unique cardio dance sequence at the beginning!
The talk at the end about the different balls was great, I recently got the mini ball and it’s made all the difference for me. I couldn’t put my feet on the traditional ball at all, but after using the mini ball for a few months I just tried the traditional ball under my feet and I was able to get on the ball and balance! The mini ball has been such a great tool to stretch and strengthen my feet. I also love the challenge of using it during floor glute work. Marnie mentions that it can be very therapeutic if the micro ball is too intense, I accidentally stumbled into finding this out when I was using it under my hips one day. All that to say, if you’re on the fence about getting the mini ball, do it! It’s such a great tool and has become a staple in my workout tools!

I agree with Cathy! Doing multiple core focused classes each week has made my low back pain almost disappear!! The floor classes are my favorite! Just be really mindful of when your back starts feeling twingy and adjust so you’re using your core not your back! Noticing this in my body has made all the difference in my core strength and back pain! Also being mindful of my posture off the mat has really helped, I’m really bad about swaying my low back, being mindful and trying to keep my spine more aligned keeps from the pain settling back there!
