My august adventure…

Hello sweet fam! Since august is all about adventure I think I need some help adventuring into shorter classes. Sometimes I’ll push myself to do a 60, and feel drained the rest of the day! When I could have done a 20, or a stretch flow and felt more energised!
So my adventure is… chilling out a bit lol.

Phenomenal women

Lately I’ve been getting bombarded with weight loss ads on YouTube. Google has a feature that lets you see why you are getting an ad, so I clicked it and guess what! It was because my gender is listed as female. I loathe that so much. We know as women we are subject to such strict sociatal standards of what to look like, but to see it in writing was kind of a shock!
So I did the badass women signature 60 (359) today.
Please you beautiful people of this community, your value does NOT depend on how much you weigh or how much fat you have, or where that fat is on your body. You are a beautiful human being and are so precious far far beyond any number!!!

Hey fam. I’m really struggling at the moment and need some support and maybe some suggestions from you on how to deal with the following situation if you’ll be kind enough to spare a minute or two ❤️ please skip if you’re a sensitive soul just like myself ❤️
I have a colleague (magda) who I was really good friends with. Last year I learned her partner (ivan) was getting a bit physical with her. Magda was away at the time and we had him over. He himself told us he was getting physical with her and blamed it everything but himself. (His low blood sugar, the fact that magda was “yapping” at him) My husband and I couldn’t believe what we were hearing and immediately stood our ground and an argument ensued. After he left- I told magda and all she did was get angry at my husband and I for arguing with Ivan. Two weeks later they met with us and said actually nothing happened, nothing ever happened and we were bad friends. Ivan said the words “imagine going to your friends with a small problem and all they do is yell at you.” It’s obvious he sees this as a small problem - but my husband and I don’t! Also they banned us from telling anyone because “people talk and exaggerate things”. Since then she has been so snarky with me at work with horrible little comments here and there. It makes going to work so so difficult. It creates so much fear in me, and I feel as if she is bullying me.

Hey G fam and M/BODY team! ❤️ I don’t know if you already have a theme for January but I’d like to officially request it as JOY,
if others in the fam are happy for it! I know we’ve had it before, but January is such a dark month, and I’ve always struggled in the UK with the winters but January is soooo difficult. The celebrations of December are over and there’s just… nothing.
M/BODY brings me joy anyways so no worries if you already have a theme! Thank you so much ❤️

Do you ever get an ad for a workout app/program and think “are they seriously trying to advertising to me, who already belongs to the best workout program in history?!” 😂❤️ hope everyone is having a lovely week so far!

So lovely to see your goals, I always love the ones that say “be kind and gentle” to yourself because it is reeeeeeallly challenging! Let’s work on this together please!

My personal goals for the challenge are:

  1. Complete all 60 days

  2. Be more active and hype people up more on the community board!

  3. Do all the wellness activities with purpose and mindfulness.

I know there’s a signature 60 live today but when you get a chance please please try signature 76 if you haven’t already! It is so fun and freeing. The cardio dance is light and bouncy and fun!

To my knowledge this is the only class that has a ballet barre stretch 1/3 of the way through AND stretch on the floor 2/3 of the way through.

The plank and ab series is fiery! If you want to work on shoulder/arm strength it is PERFECT!! I just love this one so so much!
