My girl! I’m so sorry to just be seeing this now! How are you feeling?! Yes your hamstring WILL heal. This is one of the most common things for dancers. I hate that you’re dealing with it but I can say from experience (I still remember the moment I pulled mine doing a high kick on stage in a show) that you will be able to do the splits again but you have to let it have time to heal! Hamstrings are large dense muscles and need time to rebuild. Please don’t rush it. That being said, consistent, very gentle stretching and staying mobile helps with the healing too. Movement keeps blood flowing and fluid blood heals. Please keep me updated and let me know if you need any help with modifications. xoxo
