This was SUCH a good class for the beginning of the year, or if you are new to M/Body! Deep, grounded, foundational work that starts from the floor up. Zero impact, but a LOT of concentration and focus required. Lots of balancing on the ball with one or both feet, a lot of brilliant alignment check-ins and some shaking quaking legs on my part!!! I've been having some sore creaky knees lately, so I was so intensely grateful for this work and the chance to really focus on STABILITY and aligned bones. Didn't think I'd be sweating as much as I was by the end! I might roll this into another low-impact class to see where that alignment takes me :)

I'm such a fan of these classes. Lovely flowy start that really leans into the shedding and release of our monthly theme--loved it! Weight series compounded with turn out in first on the ball and moving off of the ball into turned out second is always a challenge for me, which has been tremendously helped by having a mini ball. I feel way more stable with one foot off and one foot on. KILLER single leg lunge series using the ball that is meditative. Marnie said "thank you leg for holding me!" at one point, which felt like such a beautiful way to to call on those inner reserves of strength in a loving way when things get challenging. We move quickly from one all four position to the other, so stay fluid and make sure you have room to move yourself and your viewing device around. We end with weights in a ball-between-the-knees series and then a quick plank and back strengthening series. My legs and booty will be talking to me tomorrow!

I love this question. I'm trying to slooooooowly make my way through the M/Body catalog as a whole, but I wish I could see what times of year I was doing more 60s vs. more shorties. I'm also trying not to judge myself based on my M/Body or my Spotify wrapped so this reflection is a good reminder of that as well! Ha!

I did this Live in the AM, which was such a nice way of waking up and opening the body, but I could see this being brilliant as a midday pick-up or a before bed routine. Such flowy, stretchy goodness. The convo at the end around all our different "squat" positions is so helpful and worthy of a watch. I love the moments we have to really get into the nitty gritty of form and zoom in on all the little microcosms of our positioning. I find that super duper helpful. Thanks for this one, M/Body team!
