I did this one with 5 lbs and boy oh boy was it a challenge! No impact, slow and STRONG flow with several series in turned out second position, which keeps posture alive while the arms and legs are moving. Really lovely start/warm-up that feels like yoga flow before we get into the strength of our backs. Watching Marnie's back muscles and posture is inspiring! I got a little teary during my shout-out today and realized how much hearing my own name in these classes brings me back into my body and into feeling how strong it is when we are in this room together. I catch myself wandering off mentally, on occasion, or trying to escape the sensation of what's happening, but I feel lucky that I could fully feel it and be in it today if even for a minute or two. Lovingly hoping to move toward more of that

This one felt like a classic signature with a traditional warm-up (and very fun choreo) and a barre series that had my legs shaking. Planks and abs are also VERY warming with familiar moves and new sequences to keep you on your toes...or hands, as the case may be! I am so glad I was present for the live because it kept me moving without second-guessing myself too much. Like Monique, my glutes, triceps and obliques are sore today. Sweaty, strong and very sweet celebration of a very special platform/community/instructor. Save this one for the day you need a boost or want to feel like a badass :)

This was grounding and powerful in the most subtle, deep way. I did have a little bit of a sheen at the end of this one! Grounded practice that moved us front, back and side-to-side with options for one or both movement balls in several moments. I followed this up with our pelvic floor practice from last year. This work feels revolutionary as it relates to all our core work. It will certainly change the way I approach any of the ab exercises we do in other sessions. I'll come back to this as a reminder!

All standing, no impact, super balletic and got me sweating. This is a really fun ooey gooey one that I got to use my mini ball on for the first time! Wahoo! Even though I have larger feet, this mini ball feels really good. I'm hoping I'll learn more about the idea that just because I CAN use the full-size ball doesn't mean I HAVE to. And that maybe I'll even get stronger so that the next time I'm on the big ball, I'll feel different. I REALLY needed to hear that meditation, and I very grateful to hear that message. Today and always.
