Monique Marnie is magic. Tell it to the world

This is such a fun one! It moves quick and we have some new moves, which is a blast. I'm gonna use this as a warm-up for my day! Thank you for the extra video drop, M/Body team!

I think it's worth watching the end of class discussion before doing this workout. I used 15s, but I'm honestly curious about what a lighter weight could feel like for my own form specificity and range of motion. I've been trying to remember that just because I CAN doesn't always mean I SHOULD! Especially when we are invited to the possibility a more challenging version of a move or a heavier weight. I always want to go harder! I'm so appreciative of Marnie's response to Monique and what whole convo/chat. This brought functionality, strength, and full core alignment and alight-ment! We move up and down off the floor, we use a lot of trunk stability and strength and we do it all in 20! CONGRATS TO FAITH!!! And thank you for your killer camera work, Jack!

60 minute sweat indeed! As soon as 'Level Up' came on for the second cardio dance moment, I remembered a comment from a past video that said something like "every time I hear Level Up, I know it's about to be a sweaty one". This one felt leg and glute work forward to me. We work in wide second a few different times, move into some parallel fourth lunge work and then go down on all fours. Short rolling push-up and plank sequence at the end followed by traditional abs. I had to stop and rest a few times, which probably has more to do with my own fatigue than anything. I really appreciated Marnie's comments at the end about not making these workouts things we have to check off the list. I fall into that trap over and over, and this one taught me that it is OK to pick shorter or different workouts on days when I feel low energy. And it is also a wonderful thing that my body can carry me through something more challenging, even when I wasn't at my absolute best.

This like a dance-y yoga class with repeated sequences that open up hips, chest, hip flexors, hamstrings (and more) while still engaging functional core and mobile joints. There was still sweat for me, particularly at the end in the three legged dog/plank sequence, but it's all in service of this melty stretchy feel of a recovery in the thick of summer! Lots of movement on and off/shifting to different positions on the knee, which often takes me a minute to figure out without feeling like I'm grinding on that patella or moving my joints all out of whack. As Marnie says in the beginning, it might be nice to have some thicker padding under the knees for this whole flow. Enjoy the expansion here!!

AmandaP holding space for and standing right there with you in ALL of this. Truly. This resonated so much. Even at 38 :) we've got each other

This flows like a power yoga class. I don't have ankle weights and found it plenty challenging anyhow! No need for the ball until stretch, and even then it's optional. Get ready for some new moves moving from all fours, to modified side plank to low lunges to tricep push-ups. Keeping things mobile while we get strong and grounded! Goes by so quickly, and there are PUPPIES!!!!
