This might be my favorite chair dance ever! It felt challenging but also super accessible. I'm a particular fan of the different ways we played with push-ups and planks in this one. Lots of fun new combos to keep your brain from wandering too far, opportunities to get lowwwww and the sweat was abundant 😅

This is such a lovely class, and it was a HUGE challenge for me. I remember this happening last time we did a ballet stretch as well. I've been trying to figure out what my proper turn out is in all of our classes lately, but this one really felt like looking at it through a microscope. My knees are double-jointed and the older I get, the more crepitus I have in them too. All this to say, this is an excellent class for stretch and grace and slowwwwness, and I hope if you start to feel challenged by that, you know you're not alone. And boy do we have a loving and kind teacher to lead us through :)

Such a joyful class with an unbelievable playlist. 75%ish standing with creative core and hip work with weights! Lots of great balletic glute and thighs that keeps you focused, present and feeling graceful, but there's also lots of playful dance and opportunities to really feel into the beat. I was very sweaty by the end of this one!!

I did this AFTER having done the 45 minute standing sweat (481), and the insight about our knees in THAT video gave me a lot to think about in this one. I'm realizing how tough inner thigh work is for me even though I would swear they're pretty strong! I'll be utilizing that ball a whole lot more to get my outer thighs to trust the strength of my inner ones. And squeezing my butt during core engagement?! 🤯 I feel like I'm entering a whole new world of PLAY with my body. Thank you, Marnie❤️

This was a really nice quickie that still brings on some sweat, and at one point or another, ALL my muscles were engaged. We use weights for the majority of class, which is always a great reminder for me to drop my shoulders down my back instead of up around my ears. As an added bonus--oh my lord, as soon as that Savage Garden song came on....how do I still know all those words? Happy early birthday, Leah!!
