Hip hop sweat 167!!!

"We inhale exploration and exhale expectation." Choreo/balance note: the side lunges on one of the sides was skipped at the beginning, you could easily rewind and repeat the same moves on the other side if you want. This class packs the heat, the sculpt, and the stretch.  Something else Marnie said that stuck with me from this class- "now that you know what you're doing, think of how you're doing it." Taking that lesson with me today.

"You don't have to make radical changes to your life to radically change the life you're living." I told myself at the beginning I was going to skip the stretch at the end of this one, and by the end my body so desperately wanted it. And lo and behold Marnie had a wise reminder for JUST how important stretching is in the grand scheme of a workout. A small, yet radical change. I feel so strong and fluid after this one.

Loved how much this one helped me access my hips!!! They felt strong and free by the end. I'm typically an "all equipment" girly, but this no-equipment/ option for high-impact class really helped me focus on my form, tune into every sensation as Marnie called for a modification or choreo change, and truly, truly access the joy in each movement my body made. "It is already done."
