Sweaty build-upon class where we add on, yet count is somehow doable. Superior focus on upper body without any planking whatsoever. Hand weights frfr when we get there! So much ass-tastic squats (especially as I chose lower impact squats over jumps tonight) and my back and core are activated even doing this class without a stable surface. Mostly standing albeit we’re dropping it LOW at times. Movement ball under feet and at the very end of class the ball is behind your back while in a crunch position down on the mat (yet we work core and obliques throughout standing series). Foot position ranges from parallel to turn out; some low wide second positioning; hips gooey with circles and tucks. Did I already mention sweaty? ❤️90s hip hop❤️

Full agreement with all comments before me. Approach this class with a playful mindset, as the M/ovement ball is a wiggly bug and may or may not stay where you plan as we are lunging knee onto ball and rising up from the ball, and some other wild muscle engagement. I am grateful for the original ball for under my arches (bigger shoe size here) and under my knee, and the smaller M/ovement ball squeezed behind my knee is the perfect size (still hard to keep it there with movement and sweat, but that’s part of the fun and play!). I did this one Live, but look forward to doing again from the catalog with pause/rewind button for when I need to play fetch with my escaping ball. Adding to Favorites for a playful challenge and a all-muscles-activated-neck-to-toes class.

This no-equipment class incorporates beautiful “hover” moments of pause at the top before descending again- LOVED that! We are first sequencing in standing position and the second half of the choreographic flow brings us down to the mat on knee(s) and hand(s). Low-impact with a brief moment to be light and jump. Need room for elongation, extensions (standing and down on the mat), side to side to have a wide stance and a knee-up from your back leg, and room behind for the curtsy position. It’s not just the current heatwave in the mid-Atlantic; this 20 minute class heated me up!

Class begins with warmup- no chit chat before movement. Another gorgeous, effective use of 20 minutes: my heart rate was accelerated, I was sweating, and I definitely feel more energized.

Jumping jacks, grape vine dancing, center twists, jump options and battement choices; plank dances; so much sweat and feeling aliveness in this hour! ETA: I forgot how much I felt my abdominal muscles for the next 2 days following this class. Whew!

I don't revisit this class enough - an oldie but a goodie. Felt wonderful after sitting a lot today at work.
