Absolute perfection to revisit this evening. I did not feel lopsided but I felt the burns-SO-good all over. The 5 lb. hand weight behind the knee in table top for dancing leg work is a fun challenge to maintain posture throughout. The messages of Marnie and the wellness activity of that Fall 2022 Challenge (“wish upon a star”) reminded me it was some of our inspiration for a small gift for Marnie months later. Revisit (or try) this class if you have decision fatigue.

Anaerobic class that felt 'balletic dancer's legs' to me, with upper body primarily through arm movement that compliments lower body movement. Used a barre and gliders on carpet (could be fuzzy socks on a hard floor or paper plates on carpet). Warming but not sweaty, slow flow, instrumental music behind us.

Upbeat, celebratory Signature class grabbing our weights early (although not incorporating them again), and some beautiful building-on choreography at the barre and standing. We involve P&Ps on the mat with the ball in between our thighs and incorporated in the down-on-the-mat work, including a balancing act of laying on ball, tummy skyward, with one or both leg work and arm work. I have been feeling my lats, arms, and abs from this class and recent ones in the catalog. And are speaking to me the following day after this Signature.

All standing, use of hand weights (two weight levels optional, beginning with lighter and then picking up slightly heavier, I did 3 lbs and then 5 lbs hand weights). Ankle weights optional, which I added. Even warmup does not involve optional jumps, so if you can vibrate/run in place with them on then they can be on from the very start. The cool-down stretches (standing of course) were still creating warmth and I could feel the heat from my skin. This felt mindfully connected, not too intense, but very intentional/attentional for me.

I never regret a M/BODY class. I wasn't "feeling it" getting to the mat, but my goodness this is always what I need. Playlist continues to hit the spot, and the class works the full body despite all standing except abs on the mat for the final 3 minutes. I love it here ♥️

This was marked as a Favorite, but I don't think I revisited with ankle weights before today. My inner and outer thighs and glutes will never be the same....

I loved all of the punches and front and side kicks incorporated, and down on the mat the “ankles together” leg motions were a blend of Physical Therapy and muscle work. My quads felt like jello during the one leg standing work, so ending each side with the optional jump was wobbly. Ball is under feet/foot, held in our hands, in the crook of our hip and abdomen, and used down on the mat to support side work and behind our back. The final cardio flushes in class are enjoyable. Future me: maybe try some of the non-bouncy parts in class with light ankle weights and pick up light hand weights for the standing punches early on in class?
