Marisol your progress (everything you wrote about) is a GORGEOUS journey and I am so proud of your efforts to make these healthy shifts/perspectives/approaches! It reminds me how being well and being healthy is so much more than only moving our bodies 👏❤️❤️

So grounding and engages ALL those core muscles, especially the ones I didn’t know were there. I felt a lot of stretch in the front of my body where my legs connect with my hips as well. No equipment, mostly floor work, some slower pace/ longer holds at times b/c it’s a sculpt class. Favoriting!

Another vote here for a kickboxing themed class!

👏👏 Yay Miranda for getting it scheduled amidst such busy work stuff! “Brief squishing” for sure, and maybe eat pancakes after to keep the theme, or humor, going.

Good luck Nicole! Doesn’t sound like fun, but it will have start times and end times, and information is helpful so you can feel like yourself with the levels of energy that help your thrive. Hope you can setup something enjoyable for yourself afterward!

NO equipment, just your own power. Class went by relatively fast (that’s the pace of a detoxifying sweat class), but the planks-focused choreography and then the abs series at the end brought out the cuss Angel within (with a smile).

Journaling can be a helpful practice! I’m not writing daily, but I am diligently working on checking my thoughts/reactions of anger/annoyance/disappointment/hurt in the moment and shifting to either: what within that situation I can be grateful for OR what lesson can I learn and grow forward from it. It’s not about ignoring the difficulty or negativity, but actively choosing to shift my perspective and gain something rather than give my energy to it, if that makes sense.

At first you'll feel "crazy legs" and then after your first side of glutes your behind feels uneven (I walked to take a sip of water and that felt... lopsided), then you feel the fire rounding out both glutes (thankfully) and creeping up into your core. This class feels focused on the lower body, but if you know M/BODY you know everything is full body. Low impact, not cardio- focused, but ignites that fire within. I messed up the choreo sequence at the barre a few times and can't wait to come back to it!
