Ohhh this one brings all the pilates type moves and creates warmth. Movements are quick, on the floor, and ready to warm you up so you can stretch those gorgeous muscles. I must have done this Live and never commented (I think this was just my second time doing this great class). Just favorited it to come back to it as a great as-is or add-on. Uses the movement ball to grip between your knees in plank, but this class can easily be done without any equipment.

I unexpectedly did this class twice in ~5 weeks, as I forgot to comment the first time and commenting is how I track classes! I again did this in the evening, and it was uplifting (as the lovely Miranda M commented before me). This is a very short class with lengthening/reaching stretches, anaerobic heart rate and warmth, with no jumps or bounces. The abbreviated warmup and cool down are slightly varied. Great for a quickie on its own, but it would also pair nicely with a short class using weights or at the barre.ย

I missed the original September 2023 Fam Faves, but I was so grateful to catch this one Live! It felt like a beautiful challenge... I think the cardio bursts hit me extra hard after being sick for a while, but it also felt clearing (required deep breaths and the sweat brought the detox). I loved the combos, especially with the ball on the mat at the last part of class. In the particularly challenging moments, I reminded myself somewhere out in the world of our #mbodyglobalfam someone actually REQUESTED that move so let me honor them by keeping up, even if I am cussing just a little. This class brings the standing and mat work along with all the equipment for an hour that feels incredibly well spent. It's also Kady's Birthday class and almost Faith's birthday, so honoring some old school M/BODY girls with an energetic class was perfect!

PS the audio was perfection - I could hear the music and hear Marnie very clearly (even with an oscillating fan in the room). Thanks Katelyn and M/BODY team!

This class has a beautiful focus on endurance... from the choreography sets to the meditation words at the end. Uses weights (I keep my usual 3 lbs. but bowing to those who added balas or increased their weights, as well as to those who dropped whatever weights they were using but continued the movements) and ball under feet at the end. Low impact but still brought the sweat. I appreciate that even though there is a focus on upper body with the weights, my legs were not ignored.ย

This class went by quickly, and had me feeling warm and strong. Use of Movement ball under your feet in releve and handweights to build upon the last class. I do love a weight behind the knee on all fours; it had me digging deep to keep going, but the choreography is laid out so well that we change it up before itโ€™s too tiring. 45 minute classes are such a sweet spot of time!

Completely low-impact, but intense and powerful. Standing work then onto the mat. No bounce, no planks, no releve, but filled with torso twists and crossing your medial line of your body. Equipment is only weights (the Movement ball is a modification option when laying on your back). This class was grounding and centering, and I'm coming back to this for more in the future.

Whew! I used my usual weights (I did not increase weight) for this all-standing class, and I was FEELING IT from my feet through my hips, and my arms and shoulders. The warm-up is brief and the class heats you up in just 20 minutes.

This class felt (slightly) less sweaty the second time around, and Iโ€™m feeling my shoulders and deltoids now but I remember after doing this class Live my glutes were sassing me for days. It was perfect for later in the day need to work but did not want bounce, impact, etc. Such a solid class to return to!
