No equipment workout was perfect for traveling to the beach! I just needed to move around to provide some kicking space and leg extensions. It was bouncy class, kept my heart rate up, and felt great!

Amazing playlist (posted on Marnie Alton’s profile on Spotify) to go with slightly-slower-but-not-too-slow choreo combinations. Class stays easily low impact and has a great flow!

Ohh fun and quick switch ups of sequences with weights starting early on. Sculpty sweat with some optional jumps but not as bouncy as sweat classes can be.

Had a chance to catch up on this standing class- yes it’s core (yes you can do it while cramping), but it’s also legs and arms and it felt wonderful after a day of travel! 100% all standing until ending class reverence on the floor, and all low impact (zero jumps, just optional light bounce in warmup), and uses handweights but could be done without.

Echoing Kelsey and Nicole: whew the glute work- so good! The class moves quickly for 60 minutes.

Enjoyed the re-visit! Forgot that we use weights so much of class (love!), only use the M/ovement ball as a modification (which I used today with a sore back), and appreciated the feedback of my 6 year old asking me “do you feel strong? Because you look strong. You’ve always been strong” during the standing weight series. It was the mat choreo with weights where I was really feeling strong and I love that for myself and to model for him.

All standing (except last few minutes of final stretches), no equipment class- all dance and bounce. You just need enough space for arms out and up and some space side to side for your legs and a few front kicks. The dances kept up the heart rate and had some modern dance flair mixed into some classic M/BODY cardio dance moves. However the flow of the class was a nice shakeup with not the usual sequence during warmup and cool down. This is great for a change to standard classes, for travel, shaking shit off, and waking up and raising your energy levels.

*glutes, not flutes. 🙄 I don’t recall Lizzo in the playlist although it was a good one.

This class begins standing with some change-ups to the warm up, does not neglect arms, legs, and flutes despite the core focus, and brings some wild wiggles with the ball on the floor. Some options I tried brought the Cuss Angel out with some laughter. There is a slower, lingering stretch to end class. Great playlist too!
