Proud momma

I just hugged my stepdaughter goodbye after an unexpected visit… she flew home suddenly last weekend after some horrible news- Her younger brother passed away at just 19💔 With lots of moving pieces on her mom’s side there was a lot to navigate but y’all my girl was SO STRONG and present and did everything she could to help the situation- I’m honestly in awe of her right now and feel so much pride in what a badass woman she’s grown to be🥰🙌✨ The situation is SO tragic and something no one should ever have to go through but the strength and grace my girl showed through it all was incredible! Hug your babies extra tight tonight and let them know how much you love them❣️

I love this theme- especially going into this time of year! It is super busy for my family… our anniversary, kids’ birthdays, my birthday, and holidays all fall within the next few months so it’s kinda madness 😵‍💫 Need to remember balance during this time! Remember to take care of myself just as much as I’m taking care of my peeps❣️
