Marnie, I remember last year when you teared up on the mat.  I remember crying with you and having so much respect for you for being willing to show your students your vulnerability and your sorrow.  Through that sorrow and suffering we saw your unconditional love you have for your baby boy. And that's powerful and that's human.  I feel like this work, like yoga, is a healing art.   

After years of philosophy study, I think the one mistake in spirituality people make is they try to escape the body or distance themselves from life.  But spirit is what you are always, human is what you're being asked to do right now.  In all the ancient text it repeatedly tells us to be human. To drop deep into our belly (our lower chakras) because that's where our humanity lives. To feel life, to observe the sensation of the nervous system and allow that friction to refine the soul. 

Thank you for being such a great example of living a true spiritual life! Thank you for living your dharma!
