Note to self: never underestimate a 20-mins class by Marnie. It will kick your butt! 🥊 Also, I found the music to be refreshingly different and good.

I’m sorry to hear about your father 😔 You have a lot to love, which reminded me of the quote below which I hope is encouraging 💕

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” - C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

Since being with M/BODY, I work out not for the end goal of looking a certain way but delighting in movement for the sake of it ✨ Marnie’s explanations during the classes about how the movements are good for us—whether it’s detoxing, healing, or strengthening—helps a lot with that!

Toned legs! 🥳

That grounded work with one leg bent and the other lifted while keeping the ball in the air was so tough that I couldn’t do it fully without falling and legs going jello! Need to return to this to challenge myself 💥

Gosh, I did this one after a two-weeks hiatus resulting from a neck/shoulder injury, and it was exactly what I needed 💕 Pure body-warming goodness of a stretch and burn.
