Lizamary here is my framed Dolly print! We’ve had so much inspiration from her lately... I got this New Yorker issue in the mail, then promptly framed and hung it up in our reading corner (this weird little nook thing in our house that we haven’t been sure what to do with). I want my girls to be inspired, encouraged, and enthusiastic about their goals. So why not have some framed Dolly where they READ? So perfect 🙌🏻

Dolly was everything. I’m an OG north Alabamian, and while I struggled to feel connected to Southern culture, and ultimately moved away about 10 years ago to find my way, Dolly is the connector. Her music, her story, her kindness was the porch light home I never had. I didn’t realize how much she meant to me until her passing. So, I just really appreciate all the joy from this community in celebrating her. It’s amazing that a person can continue bringing so much goodness, even after they leave us. That’s legacy.

Anyway, this is just a massive PDA with gratitude for Dolly tributes and all the current m/body curriculum. It’s meeting me exactly where I need it! Please have a wonderful weekend fam 💗
