I got some upsetting info yesterday. I knew I wanted to work out this morning to prep for the day. It’s my son’s bday and we have all the things planned. Starting the day with a workout eases the stress and anxiety, ya know? Well, I needed this workout even more today. The magic of M/BODY and Marnie’s meditation! I can enjoy celebrating my 9 year-old! What?! Enjoy the live today, all!

On most days, during my lunch break, I take a 15 min nap. It started during the early days of Covid. I continue to be a remote employee. It’s 15 mins to rest my body and brain. Yoshi always joins me. Today she was extra snuggly. I’m glad I was in the picture today.

I flipped the guide and did arms & abs/205 yesterday AM and yesterday’s live this morning. Something I’ve learned as I continue to heal from my foot fracture is that sweat can happen equally, if not more, from a low impact effort. I really loved yesterday’s live and the multitude of options Marnie provided. Thank you, thank you!! Also, I love being on #deskcrew and connecting with all of you lovely peeps!

Really fun class and playlist. I haven’t done a 60 min in a long time and it was a great one for the core! The precursor to the month “challenge” of self-love, there were hints of that concept throughout, which I loved. I also felt that there were a lot of modifications presented in this class, which is totally my jam. Even with low impact modifications, you’ll get a good sweat.
