Sweetest fam. Firstly, I wish we could all sit by the fire and talk about this summer, and share our experiences on this challenge. But reading your thoughts fills my heart. I have so much to share, too. This challenge has been a unique one for me. This is the first time I had to let go of the idea of doing it all. And to be honest I have mixed feelings about the outcome, I could have pushed myself a bit more. I completed 32 videos and avoided 60 mins ones, but when I got to the mat I've given my all and had so much fun. Every summer has a story and this summer of mine was about balancing a demanding full-time job without any vacay days with adventure and fun. I could take some home office days though which allowed me to visit Austria and Italy and travelled back to Romania to spend some time with my dearest grandma. Above all, I got to see Florence + The Machine, Imagine Dragons, and BILLIE EILISH live, which was above and beyond. Regarding the wellness activities, I noticed that these suggestions are already in my body and mind now. I drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, journal, try to eat more greens, take my vitamins regularly, repeat mantras, make laughter a priority, foam roll, massage my face and feet, walk, surprise my loved ones, smile at strangers, and all those many other things Marnie guides us towards to. I feel like M/Body and this fam in inseparable from my being, which is the greatest gift. Although I need to get off of sugar and crappy food, which happened a lot lately. And I am trying to figure out how to get to the mat at least 5 times a week, because I got way too permissive with myself when I don't feel like working out. Love you, fam.

Hi fam, it has been a while since I've shared my movement boards with you, or anything really. Here are my workout boards from mid February. I love them and I am proud of myself, because I didn’t push myself, yet I exercised a nice amount while getting enough rest and other activities.
I am done with traveling for now, so my Summer of Strong Challenge starts TODAY! Can't wait to ease back into it and catch up with y'all.

I started it right after the Stay True To You challenge. It has been quite a colorful journey.
During the first board, I traveled back home for the holidays and spent time with family and friends. A lot of activities, and happy times, but also a lot of rest due to catching a cold.
During the second board, I realized how much I started to enjoy this project I am working on, I loved having a routine - it brought me comfort and some ease.
While completing the third board I went through some sudden and shocking changes when I realized the future shootings of our show are going to be pushed by months, so I basically became temporarily unemployed on such short notice. My anxiety level was sky-high. Thankfully, I managed to land on another show for a couple of weeks, so I could find some peace by now.
The reason I am sharing this is to remind you all that moving our bodies can help us get through joyful, happy times because it really keeps us grounded and helps to process all the other activities. Movement is awesome when you have a chill period, and it feels like everything is in its place because it spices things up a bit. And movement is really useful when you feel like everything is out of your control and you doubt yourself and fear the future. Movement is a healer when you have a lot of energy and it is a healer when you have to drag yourself to the mat. Either way, it is so worth it, and I am so proud of my consistency!

Hi fam,
I noticed that there are a few newbies here who show up regularly. I would love to connect with you on IG as well if you are on it and you like the idea. Some fam members usually post about their m/body journey on it, we have group chats, and chatting about various big and little things has really brought us together especially during those Covid times and ever since. And I just wanted to share this and include you there if that's something that could bring more joy and support into your life. This is my handle: @iambeata. Feel free to drop yours here so we could find you if you want!

During these 60 days I completed 64 videos & 40 wellness activities. I returned to intermittent fasting and reduced my sugar intake to a very-very minimum which feels good after an out of control summer period. I sleep well and drink lots and lots of water. I think I feel good about how much attention I dedicate to my wellbeing.
But besides this my current job is the most stressful one that I've ever had. Usually I am not someone who constantly feels the anxiety, but lately I am having a bit of trouble with that. Trying to make improvements in this area as well.
I couldn't workout on this last week of the challenge because apparently I pulled a muscle around my heart and it gave me a lot of trouble during the cardio series. Not the way I planned to get to the finish line, but it amazes me that I actually have some respect towards my body now.
When I started working out with Marnie I had no idea how to read my body's signals. Now I know better, and I don't overdo it at all, I am not obsessed, I don't feel burned out, I don't feel that I am lazy and not doing enough either. It feels like I have found some balance, and that is so deliberating. My relationship with M/BODY is at a very balanced, healthy state. I am so grateful!
