I have had a terrible fear of flying since I developed generalized anxiety about 15 years ago. I was just on a set of flights east and back to LA and all went EXTREMELY smoothly. It helped me to have eaten a solid meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and lock in to a movie that engages you at the beginning of the flight. By the time youโ€™re up in the air, youโ€™ll be too engaged w the movie to be afraid. Sending you allllll the smooth travel vibes!

I had ambitions to sit outside during the sunniest part of the day, typically mid-morning, but my work schedule didn't exactly cooperate, then I felt self-conscious about being outside because my patio is pretty visible to my neighbors. I decided I'd sit in the sun like a housecat (inside). Closed my eyes for 5 minutes, then sat up, counting the minutes (can you tell I'm not good at just SITTING?), ultimately did some therapeutic breathing and then finally relaxed just as the 15 minutes were up. I actually had a therapist "prescribe" me to sit in silence for 5 minutes a day once. Maybe I should get back to that...

I'm seeing everyone else's ambitious complex goals and I'm having some comparing and despairing, so this comment is most welcome! They've been helpful already!

  1. Work on flexibility, especially my left leg.

  2. Incorporate high impact options at least once each workout, instead of never.

  3. Work on breath, mindfulness, and presence in and out of workouts!

I LOVED THIS CLASS! I sometimes struggle with motivation and energy to get through a 60 minute. But I did it here because this class is so well-paced and accessible. I feel amazing. Thanks, Marnie!

A new fave! An extended arm/back workout, some brand new moves, and it goes super fast. Plus those tidbits are the end are always SO clear and helpful.

Yes! Discovered you on PopSugar and did that first workout many many times. I remember vividly going out to lunch after doing it with legs shaking. This workout was amazing. Made me feel powerful.
