Kathryn let’s find out what’s going on with your sweet feet! With a shorter barre it’s possible you’re unconsciously leaning forward (which can put pressure in your toe joint on releve). Try lowering your heels a little so you’re on the top third of your foot rather than the toes and play around to make sure your shoulders/hips/knees/ankles are all stacked in one line so there’s no leaning.
