That one kicked my butt! I knew I needed a little more arms and abs, but the first planksgiving seemed like a kicker. I was absolutely right, and I'm so glad I did it. I feel stronger than when I started, which feels significant!!

I have been SO enjoying the new sequences and movements we have been doing in the last several classes. It's instilled a sense of play and somatic awareness that I think I can distract myself away from, at times, and I really appreciate my body and mind being worked in new ways! Go back to 27:34ย if you want to do the arabesque bend and lengthening that we missed on the second side, and don't forget to do the side stretch series at the barre too (during initial barre stretch)!ย

All told, this was more of a <30 minute class, which was super balanced, all standing and optionally impact-y. Really nice to do this on a day where I felt a little sore and tired. Happy September, everyone!

This was a really dynamic workout with lots of balance between each side, front and back etc. Killer playlist once again with one of my fave N*Sync and one of my fave Beyonce songs everrrrrr, which kept me going and grooving! New hands over head work during core and hip lifts, which was super cool too. So looking forward to our month of balance after the adventure of August. Listening to my body is once of the best things I can remind myself to do.

Attack of the wiggles! This was challenging for the whole body. Lots of balancing and single-sided movement, which forced me to check in with how hard I was being on myself mentally. A reminder that this is joyful movement and an opportunity to learn something new! Why should I be perfect at it the first time (if ever!)?ย

I was putting this one off because I was worried it was going to be really intense, and instead, it was the perfect amount of being pushed and being held. The playlist, the moves, the pace-- all of it was fantastic and classic m/body. I felt strong, was reminded of how far I've come since I started this work (physically and mentally!) and enjoyed every moment!

I was having so much fun dancing, I didn't take a break or think about the time once! This reminded me of being a kid and dancing in front of the mirror, which DELIGHTED me. Not to mention the playlist was firrrrrrrrrreeeeeee. Thank you for this one, Marnie! What a blast
