Hey Sha. No I wasn't told to act my age but someone (good thing or they would have gotten an earful!) I was just laughing at myself. Most 55 year olds don't aspire to look like Jimmy Neutron! 🤣 As my father always said "My youngest daughter marches to the beat of her own drum". I always thought that was the best compliment.

Marnie is the best for stress relief. Finding this community has been so good for me. My plan was to join for the winter only since I cycle in the summer. But I just can't leave. The thought of not having access to all of these wonderful women makes me sad. Truly blessed. 😍🙏

Cathy, I too am very grateful for these last few years with my parents. We got to spend a lot of time together through Covid. Unfortunately my dad is starting to suffer and it is so difficult to watch. Sometimes I just don't know what to do. Just trying to find and celebrate the tiniest moments.

My summer is very much about caregiving. I spend 3 or 4 days a week helping to care for my elderly parents. Then I am very blessed to be able to spend the rest of the week taking care of myself. Thus I have been able to get to the mat with regularity. I'm not getting any of the "chores" done around my house but they're not going anywhere 😆. I'll get to them eventually.

Hey! We haven't had too much smoke since June. Here in Ontario our smoke came mostly from Quebec and things are better there. I know that the west is still having tons of forest fires 😯. I didn't know that you were from Saskatchewan, a true Prairie girl. How did you end up in MN? I've never been but I love being out in nature. Will have to put it on my bucket list now that I have a resident expert to consult! 😎
