While I was doing this workout my neighbour, who was dogsitting, had a family emergency. So she brought this gorgeous girl over to hang out with me. Here's Cerise and me on the mat

I LOVE the strength and stability classes!!! As an almost 60 year old (when the heck did that happen?) working on strength and mobility is so important.

Happy belated Canada Day (from Canada) to all the Canadian fam. And Marnie thank you for playing my FAVE the Weeknd song!!!🍁🇨🇦

Another yummy power sculpt!!  To answer Marnie Noelle's question, I don't have a middle name.  Since I have a double first name, my parents figured that was enough!!

Thank you so much Marnie for this insightful and caring response. In these days of Ozempic and whatever that gelatin weight loss nonsense is, it is very hard to cope with hormonal/menopausal weight gain. Your kind and helpful words (both in your post and in EVERY M/body workout) are always so life-giving. I never thought that I would be thanking my belly for creating a home for all of my organs.  You taught me that. M/body (and of course my therapist) are truly helping me to combat the negative messages that I can catch myself sending.

I am trying my best to focus on strength building, stretching, getting up and down, and just plain having fun moving my body.

Sending so much love and gratitude

Hi,

I too am a post treatment menopausal breast cancer survivor.  I was 10 years older than you (9 yrs ago) when I was diagnosed.  I wish that I was writing to give you some great tips on losing weight but I don't have any.  I am also heavier and finding it very hard to lose the weight.  It is very frustrating but I am trying to be gentle and loving with myself. I take pride in being stronger than I was 10 years ago and my hips are less tight. I am also focusing on mobility which is so important when aging. Good luck and I hope that you stay healthy and strong.

Cheers,

Mary-Ellen
